" Call us between our extended opening hours of 6 - 10PM Monday to Thursday to arrange an appointment. This breathtaking fifth floor loft apartment has been refitted and designed by the current owners to exacting standards with no expense spared. The Paramount was built in 1936-38 by John Laing and Sons Ltd a family run building company dating back to the mid 1800s and designed by Culpin & Son. The original fa?ade was constructed in red brick and originally named Wigton House celebrating the firms Cumbrian roots.The building was actively occupied by various manufacturing companies as well as Scholl the renowned Podiatrist foot company. In the 1990s the building was acquired and converted into apartments by Warner Loft, who enhanced the appearance of the building with white painted render, glass balconies and roof terraces renaming the building Paramount House.It has become one of the most recognised and sought after apartment buildings in Clerkenwell with most of the apartments having floor to ceiling windows, exposed concrete ceilings with upper floor apartments enjoying some of the best views of the London Skyline. Entered via an elegant hallway leading into the most spectacular kitchen/dining room refitted by Balthaup, this space is seamless in design and oozes quality and style.
