Guide Price £475,000 - £500,000. A previously much-loved, three-bedroom, End of Terrace house now requiring modernisation throughout is located on Chichester Road a popular position within Leytonstone and offered with no onward chain.

This Victorian property, arranged over two floors externally has the traditional front garden area, setting it slightly back for the road and with a side, entrance adds extra convenience for reaching the garden from the roadside, handy for any gardeners.

Internally, once entering it is easy to see that the property requires some TLC but provides an opportunity for the next owners to transform this house into their new home, in their own style.

To the right of the entrance hall, the good-sized through lounge features the bay window to the front and will make a good living room area and to the rear enough space to have a dining table, for family meals and entertaining.

Moving to the rear of the ground floor you first reach the reasonably sized kitchen and although this room is very dated it is usable, but we are sure this would be on the to-do list to modernise. Beyond the kitchen, the bathroom including sink and bath has a sliding door separating it from the WC.

The rear garden is of a nice size, currently with flower beds and central lawn area, but we a re sure with a bit of imagination and some green fingers this garden could be a real joy to tend to.

On the first floor, the three bedrooms are of reasonable proportions with the main bedroom positioned to the front of the house, stretching the width of the property and includes a built in cupboard, which bedroom three also has for additional storage.

Leytonstone High Road is nearby, taking care of your day to day shopping needs, with buses taking you to Stratford and Walthamstow. Leytonstone High Road station is the closest to home approximately half a mile to the north, and off to the west, you are not far from the expansive open green spaces of Wanstead Flats, for anyone who enjoys being outdoors for a good walk or bike ride. The nearby Woodhouse Tavern serves hot food and does a great roast dinner and a great range of ales and fine wines and when you want to work it all off Leytonstone Leisure centre is in easy walking distance. For those with Children, Buxton School is the closest and is Ofsted rated good.

The current owner added… ‘This has always been a happy family home, filled with wonderful memories firstly for my sister and I, but in recent times also our own children when visiting. The road is quiet with some lovely neighbours and with local shops and great transport links, by bus, train and road this has really been a great place to live‘.
