" Oak Hall Road is a charming Edwardian turning in the heart of Wanstead 'Village' aligned with well maintained Edwardian brick fronted homes, just steps away from Wanstead historical green and High Street with its numerous shopping facilities, restaurants and bars. It is also within easy access to Wanstead Park with its ancient heaths, woods and lakes. This charming character home has versatile living space with through lounge, kitchen/diner and downstairs wc to the ground floor and 3 double bedrooms with a family bathroom to the first floor. There is an additional loft room with pull down ladders and velux window. The current owners have carried out numerous works over the years to enhance the property, giving a modern contemporary yet traditional feel. Internal viewings are highly recommended. The southerly facing garden has been landscaped with mature flowers and shrubs and has a really lush feel about it, yet is designed to be low maintenance. It is also situated in good school catchments to include Our Lady of Lourdes, Christchurch Primary and walking distance to Wanstead High. This has been a really great home for us. Oak Hall Road is a great family street with fantastic neighbours and a real sense of community. When we bought here, it was really important to be in walking distance to the tube and High Street. We really couldn't have found a better location. In fact we like it so much we intend to stay in this vicinity. We have been spoilt by having everything on our doorstep. A good nursery round the corner, good local primary schools within walking distance, the tube literally a stones throw away and the convenience of the High Street.
Wanstead is a great place to live.
