Situation:    The Rousdon Estate is situated on the East Devon coastline approximately two and a half miles from the Dorset border at Lyme Regis. It is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt locations on the south coast and comprises parkland with a variety of mature trees, farmland and extensive areas of woodland including a nature reserve. The estate is about half a mile from the sea, with it's own private beach accessible only from the estate via a walk down through the under cliff and across the South West Coast Path, which runs through the estate land. It is set within 350 acres of parkland with private walks and overlooks Charlton Bay on the east Devon/West Dorset border. Rousdon was a classic model Victorian estate served by a network of private roads and buildings, including the mansion, stable courtyard, the church, farm houses, farm buildings, cottages and lodges.
