SITUATION:  No 24, West Walk is situated almost at the end of a quiet private cul-de-sac road on the western fringe of West Bay which forms part of the Jurassic Coastline.  In West Bay there is a good range of local amenities, including shops, hotels, a picturesque harbour which provides good boating facilities and, on East Cliff, there is an 18-hole golf course.  In addition, there are some fine coastal walks in the immediate vicinity along the cliff tops.

The market town of Bridport lies about 1.5 miles due north with its comprehensive range of shops and professional offices.  The area is one of outstanding natural beauty and there are some delightful walks along the coastal path many of which are through land which is the responsibility of the National Trust and now has World Heritage status.

Dorchester, the County Town of Dorset, lies about 15 miles to the east and here there is a main line rail service to London, Waterloo.
