SITUATION:  A short downward walk into West Bay itself leads to the fishing harbour, beaches, renowned eating establishments, the local Spar shop, whilst access to the Jurassic coastline is close by which now has World Heritage Status.  Facilities also include fishing/boating trips along the coast, good water pursuits and a golf course on East Cliff.

The market town of Bridport lies some 2 miles north with its wide range of individual shops, boosted by a twice-weekly street market, excellent range of annual festivities, well supported U3A group, art centre, community theatres, artists studios and workshops together with leisure centre with indoor swimming pool.
