SITUATION:  The property is situated in a private cul-de-sac road, about 1.5 miles north of Bridport town centre.  Local facilities in the village of Bradpole include a post office/stores, a butchers' shop, a pub, parish church, village hall and Sir John Colfox secondary school.

The centre of the market town of Bridport is within convenient distance and provides an excellent range of shopping and recreational facilities.  The sea and coast at West Bay is a further 1.5 miles due south and forms part of the Jurassic Coastline where there are excellent boating and fishing facilities.  

Dorchester, the County Town of Dorset, lies about 16 miles to the east where there is a main line rail service to London, Waterloo.
