The Property
Situated in the picturesque village of Sutton Poyntz, this detached home enjoys lovely rural outlooks from most aspects. Accessed from Sutton Road there are steps leading up to the main entrance of the property to the porch and then in through the property's main door. Sutton Poyntz is a thriving community set at the foot of the chalk downs, famous for the dominant White Horse carving. The village has a local Inn and regular bus service connecting to the larger town of Weymouth. The suburb of Preston is close-by and has an off-licence/delicatessen, chemist, hair dressers and doctor's surgery. There are three convenience stores and pubs within the area and regular bus service to Weymouth. Mainline rail services from Weymouth connect with London. The beach at Overcombe, popular with watersports enthusiasts, and the Lodmoor nature reserve are also a short distance from the property. Weymouth was host to the 2012 Olympic sailing events and is famous for its shallow sandy bathing beaches and dramatic Jurassic coastline extends to both the east and west
