SITUATION: Litton Cheney is a small attractive rural village which nestles in the Bride Valley and is easy accessible to the County Town of Dorchester approximately 10 miles to the East and to the market town of Bridport approximately 6 miles to the West. The surrounding countryside is of outstanding natural beauty and the coastline of Chesil beach lies about 4 miles distant forming part of the Jurassic Coastline which now has World Heritage status.
