The Situation Rectory Road is situated in the village of Piddlehinton. The village is located 5 miles away from the County Town of Dorchester where there is an excellent range of schools, shops and restaurants, and offers other facilities including the Dorset County Hospital, mainline rail services to London Water and Bristol Temple Meads. The village itself has an active community, parish church, village hall and The Thimble Inn.
