" An extremely versatile detached family hone offering about 115 square metres (over 1237 sq ft) of well presented and proportioned rooms arranged over two floors and located within a level walk of the award winning supermarket, other shops, local facilities and schools. We believe that the house was built in the late 1920's by a local master builder for his own occupation. The property passed into the hands of our seller's family in 1953 and this is the first time in 62 years it has been presented to the market for sale. Over the course of time it has been maintained to a very good standard and benefits form Upvc double glazing and electric heating. The accommodation offers good sized rooms with a variety of potential uses and must be viewed to be fully appreciated. In brief, the ground floor consists of L shaped entrance hall with access to the inner hall with stairs rising to the first floor and door into the sitting room. This is sufficiently large enough to allow for a dining table and enjoys a dual aspect. In addition, there is a splendid marble fireplace which was salvaged some time ago from a mansion in Gillingham. Also on the ground floor is a further room which is currently used as a bedroom but could equally be a separate dining room. This boasts a feature fireplace and has an area leading off which could be a study area or dressing area. There is also a galley style kitchen, swanky shower room and rear lobby with storage cupboards. On the first floor there are three generously sized bedrooms, all with fitted cupboards and the main benefiting from a shower room. The rear bedrooms also boast views in the distance. Outside there is plenty of off road parking, garage and carport and to the rear there is an easy to maintain garden with a magical feel to it and having a variety of timber chalets, all with power, lighting and water and offering the potential to earn an income.
