" A brick and stone double fronted Victorian terraced cottage situated in the conservation area of Dorset's smallest town and enjoying close proximity to countryside walks. We believe that the property was built in the 1850's with an extension to the rear during the 1930's and has been a family home to our sellers for the last thirty years. The cottage retains features of the Victorian era with original sash windows, picture rails and good ceiling heights and has many 1930's style panelled doors fitted. The property benefits from gas fired central heating from a combination boiler which was installed about a year ago and has potential for one to put one's own stamp on it. The well proportion accommodation is arranged over two floors and consists on the ground floor of reception area, a bright and welcoming main entrance hall, sitting room with open fireplace, a combined kitchen and dining room with pantry and larder cupboard, utility room and cloakroom. On the first floor there is the bathroom and three double sized bedrooms. Outside, there is a good sized well stocked garden, the old wash house, outhouse and log store. Behind the garden there is a double garage with light and power. There is also a vegetable patch at the back of the garage. Viewing is a must to fully appreciate this delightful home.
