Fenwick Way is situated on the Berry Edge estate, built by Barratt, within 0.8 miles of Consett town centre. Its facilities are just 300 yards from Tesco supermarket and the retail park at Puddlers Corner. There are several schools in the area, including Consett Academy secondary school. At the same time, road links to the regional centres of Durham and Newcastle - both within 15 miles - have made Consett a popular base for commuters. Its proximity to the countryside and popular trails such as the Derwent Walk and Coast-to-Coast cycle route.
