" Have you noticed that there seems to be a real shortage of good quality, yet affordable, detached houses in the Greenhithe area?We have, and that is why this lovely 4 bedroom detached house could well be the best house you will see in this price bracket in Greenhithe.For starters it is in the most sought after part of Greenhithe, "The Village". A popular location where you really do have everything you could possible want right on the doorstep. For example, if you like to go for walks then why not take a stroll down by the river. If you need great transportation links, its all right here.The local station is only a 5 minute walk and you can be on the motorway network in less than 5 minutes. The new Ebbsfleet International station is also only a short distance away. If you like character, the Village is steeped in history, which you can sample by enjoying a drink in one of the historic Waterside pubs.The house itself is a beautifully designed purpose built 4 bedroom detached. It has the advantage of having 3 reception rooms and 4 well proportioned bedrooms.The owners have kept the house up to date with a modern kitchen and professionally fitted bathroom and en-suite. The garden feels secluded and the house has a useful garage and parking for 2 cars on the front.

For us Greenhithe was the best of both worlds, excellent transport links, including the new high speed rail link and a lovely village atmosphere. Getting to work in London or to visit friends and family elsewhere in the country was easy, while the ability to have a stroll along the river bank before a couple of drinks in a local pub was always difficult to resist at the weekend. Eagles Road is a nice quiet avenue that is ideally located between the station, main road, shops and pubs. Having a detached house with a private rear garden gave us a great sense of space within a friendly neighbourhood.
