" This is truly an amazing property. It is easy to run out of superlatives when trying to describe this house and it had a real effect on me when I visited it for the first time. I was blown away by it's character and in fact It put me in mind of a Alpine ski lodge when I walked into the living room due to it having a lovely vaulted ceiling and a feature open fireplace. You can just imagine enjoying this room in the winter time with the fire crackling away in the hearth and a cosy atmosphere that a real fire can help to create. In the summer time this is also a great house for entertaining because there is a large conservatory with French doors that can be opened up from the lounge. This creates a huge open plan living space which then leads out to the garden which has a decked patio. There are numerous other stand out features here including an extended kitchen which feels lovely and light due to an ornate skylight window. In addition there is a newly updated shower room and a luxurious family bathroom suite. Located in South Darenth this property really does offer the best of both worlds in terms of location. It's semi rural yet it's close enough for an array of local amenities including access for the motorways, Bluewater is only a short distance away and you can even walk to a main line station within a few minutes.

What the Owner says:

I have been here for 26 years and have now decided to downsize. The area is great because we have nice walks available through the countryside and along the river. Plus we can walk to the train station in approximately 10 minutes. It is a great feeling returning home from the city on the train and seeing the lovely countryside. There is a primary school in the village (plus grammar schools in Dartford), local shops, a Dr's surgery and a chemist, plus a post office and cafe. We are less then 10 minutes drive to Bluewater and we have great access for the motorways.
