" Located between the A2 and Meopham, is the residential village of Istead Rise. For many years the area has been a well kept secret, but being in such a convenient position, this area is now exceptionally popular with the commuter population. Access to the City has never been better. The A2/M2 is a short drive away as are the mainline train stations at nearby Meopham and Ebbsfleet. For those not wanting to drive or run to catch a train, why not just hop onto one of the regular coach services that run through the village.The home is not just convenient for work commitments, it is also a short walk to the local parade of shops which cater for everyday requirements and is a stone's throw from the local doctors surgery. For those with children of a primary school age, Istead Rise has its' own school just down the road from this property.
The house itself we cannot compliment enough, the space downstairs is superb. You step into the entrance lobby rather than straight into one of the receptions. There is a good size lounge with an adjoining conservatory overlooking the landscaped garden. We understand the kitchen was re-fitted in 2010 and sits next to the separate dining room which has so much space that the current owner even has a study area within it! To complete the ground floor accommodation is a handy cloakroom. Upstairs there are 3 good bedrooms and a family bathroom.

I have loved every second of living in this house. For over 20 years it has been a great place to live, not just for the space the home has given me, but also because I can't think of a more convenient area to live. Where else can you just pop into the local butchers or a mini supermarket whilst having a doctors' surgery on your door step along with a school as local as ours without living in a busy town area? The Community Centre and playing fields are just beyond the doctors' surgery. Other than the garden in the summer, one of my favourite rooms of the home has to be the kitchen, which I recently had re-fitted by the 'Longfield Kitchen Company' and am thrilled with the result.
