" A magnificent detached cottage located conveniently for Abbey Fields and Old Town. The property has been extensively modernised by its current owners yet retains much of the charm you would expect of a property of its age. Linden Cottage is approached over a stone driveway that offers hardstanding for several vehicles and is framed by shaped borders. The cottage is accessed across a small terrace that leads into the vestibule hallway that opens out into a glorious dining hallway. At the head of the hallway is an attractive staircase that rises to the first floor landing with vaulted ceiling and picture window onto the side of the property. Double doors from the hallway lead you through to the sitting room with its deep inglenook fireplace with its dual fuel burner set on a stone hearth and surround. French doors with matching side lights take you onto the side terrace. The heart of the cottage however is firmly located within the stunning kitchen/family room. The kitchen units are contrasted by a dark granite work surface and tiled floors. The central island has a seating bar and integrated Baumatic wine cooler and porcelain inset sink. Integral appliances include a Bosch microwave and dishwasher as well as a Rangemaster oven with extractor hood over. Exposed brickwork frames a seating area with double french doors onto the rear terrace and doorway through to the utility room and cloakroom. The easy tread staircase lead to the galleried landing with chandelier. All doors radiate off to the three bedrooms and family bathroom. The master suite has a bank of fitted robes to one wall and a doorway that leads through to a Villeroy and Boch en suite. Complete with a walk in shower, floating sink unit and low flush wc. Complimentary tiling to walls and floors. Two further bedrooms and a further Villeroy and Boch bathroom suite fitted in white with contrasting white and dark granite tiled flooring. Outside the gardens are designed for minimum maintenance with terraces to two sides. To the side of the property is a loggia and a further raised terrace with shrub beds. To the front is extensive parking and a detached brick built garage. Viewing is essential to appreciate this lovingly restored and extended cottage. With a population of around 25,000, Kenilworth is most famous for its beautiful Castle that attracts visitors from all over the world.
