" Stunning Four Bedroom Detached Property For Sale in Clifton-upon-Dunsmore.

Having successfully dealt with many sales now in the ever popular North Road, who else would they ask to market this one?

No. 32 was built in 1956 and was commissioned by the Village School Headmaster of the time and his family who lived here until 2001, when it was sold to the current owners.

Despite the pretty but seemingly modest exterior, this property offers a real ‘WOW’ factor that you wouldn’t at first expect.

Here's what the current vendors said about the property, when we chatted with them;

“On our first viewing of the property, I walked in through the front door, saw the parquet flooring and the hairs went up on the back of my neck. I turned to my husband and said “I want it”. It was a great first impression that I still remember vividly”.

Upon entering the welcoming hallway you immediately get a feel for the space on offer.

Having enjoyed the house just as it was for the first few years, the current owners then set about doing some major alterations to the property.

The main purpose of the re-modelling was to open up the downstairs living space into a great entertaining area, which all the family could enjoy.

The current owners created a double-storey extension which adding a wonderful open-plan living space, resulted in what is now a stunning family home.

“Working from home as I often do, I really enjoy sitting at the table with the French doors open. On a sunny day the garden is glorious. All I can hear is the bird song – It’s a lovely relaxing and inspiring place to be.”

As well as the fabulous open-plan family space, the current owners have cleverly incorporated the old with the new by adjoining the original lounge with its Oak Parquet flooring and stone fireplace.

Having a young family, what was the original dining room, again with Oak Parquet flooring, is now used as a Playroom.

The imposing stairwell is flooded with light from the glass lantern to the landing and the upstairs accommodation that leads off, does not disappoint.

The Master bedroom suite with its 'Juliette' balcony can be found to the rear and occupies the full width of the property.

The bright south-facing bedroom enjoys views over the garden and easily accommodates a super king bed. Leading off, you will find a large dressing room which could also lend itself to a nursery or office space.

The generous ensuite benefits from a double shower with mains fed power shower and glass screen.

As well as the stylish Master bedroom, there are three other generous bedrooms and a family bathroom.

The sunny and mature south-facing garden is a peaceful place to enjoy family life.  There’s plenty of space for the children to play and for the adults to relax.

There is a large metal storage shed hidden behind the trees at the bottom of the garden and a ‘Summerhouse’, perfect for creating that ‘She Shed!

To the front of the property there is mature hedging and a small foregarden with a large gravelled driveway suitable for parking several cars.
