" Set in the peace and quiet of Cross Road this wonderful extended 3 bedroom bungalow really could be that gem of a “wild card” property you are looking for, and not just because of it’s great location.
There is a nice warm family feel to the bungalow as soon as you walk through the door and there is a nice flow to the way this home is laid out as all the rooms lead off from the hallway running from front to back. To the front of the bungalow there is a good size living room, which incidentally could be used as a fourth bedroom if the need arose, along with the first of 3 double bedrooms, which like the master bedroom, is spacious enough for a double bed and furniture. Then you come to the heart of the bungalow and the possible reason for not needing that living room! As the open plan kitchen dining area really is such a fantastic socialising space for the family and friends (when the occasion arises!) and has a cracking view over the rear garden.
Which leads us onto what is possibly the best feature of this home, the wonderful back garden. With a decking area set outside the open plan kitchen , which is just perfect for those summer barbecues with friends. Then there is also a great sized lawn area for the kids or grand kids to play on whilst you keep an eye on the sizzling food! With the addition of a grow your own vegetable patch at the foot of the garden too, This garden is a must for any keen gardener or someone looking for some great outside space.

What the Owner says:

One of the things we love the most about Birchington is the really friendly village community. It takes us under five minutes to walk into the village and do our day to day shopping. We also love to socialise in the village in the evenings, the pubs have that fantastic old fashioned feel but with an up to date beer and wine selection.
Much as we loved bringing up our own family, living here we can enjoy the garden and our vegetable patch without hearing other peoples children disturbing our peace in the neighbouring gardens! With most of the children now having left the nest, we feel the time has come to downsize and move on, but we will certainly be looking to stay local as for us we feel
