" Exclusively via Jenkinson Estates and new to the market comes this fine detached Edwardian home situated on Kingsdown Hill. Rolls House was designed by architect Percy Pettman Patey. The bespoke construction contract to 'erect this residence' was signed by his father Henry Horn Patey on 10th August 1910. In the same year 1910, Charles Stewart Rolls (the Rolls in Rolls Royce) was the first man to complete the perilous return flight across the channel, taking off from nearby fields. The house is named in Rolls' memory. This substantial detached home occupies approximately 1/3 Acre of gardens and has commanding views across the English Channel and Kingsdown Golf Club towards France. The versatile accommodation is again of generous proportion and could suit many lifestyles. The ground floor provides three reception rooms and a large kitchen / breakfast room together with a cloakroom w.c. plus utility. The first floor continues to impress with the spacious accommodation and offers a family bathroom, further shower room and four bedrooms. Three of the bedrooms offer en-suites. The second floor offers yet more accommodation currently arranged as two further bedrooms and a study. Completing the second floor is another family bathroom. A self contained double bedroom annex is an ideal solution for anyone looking to work from home, have relatives live with them or indeed an income from a holiday let. The extensive plot which this wonderful home occupies complements the size of the home well, mainly laid to lawn with established gardens it offers a private and secluded outside space. Parking will never be a problem with an extensive driveway that leads to a double garage; there is also further parking to the front. A very versatile home with a wealth of accommodation, situated in the sought after village of Kingsdown and occupying a commanding position to take in the views of the sea, golf course and France on fine days. Viewings are strictly by appointment and exclusively via Jenkinson Estates.
