DETAILS Situation
Herschell Road East lies in a convenient poistion within Lower Walmer having access to The Strand with a local parade of shops whilst the more comprehensive town centre of Deal has a pedestrianised High Street with high street multiples and localised shops, as well as an excellent choice of primary and secondary schools nearby.

Recreational facilities are available at Tides Leisure Centre in Victoria Park whilst the seafront and pier is a haven for anglers as well as rowing and sailing facilities. There is an excellent choice of golf links in the area, the nearest being the Royal Cinque Ports at Deal and further challenging courses at Sandwich and Kingsdown. Road links lead to the A2 and onward to the M2 motorway. There are railway stations in Deal and Walmer and access to the Channel Tunnel Terminal at Cheriton, Folkestone, being approximately 17 miles distant. The high speed rail link is available from Dover Priory.
