" Set in one of West Purley’s prime and highly respected locations is this 1950’s built detached house which has two reception rooms, a kitchen, utility and downstairs WC, three bedrooms and the period family bathroom set on the first floor. The existing owner moved here some 46 years ago and tells us that she purchased from the original occupier. A selection of black and white photographs can be seen from when ‘Fairmile’ was being built in 1954, with outstanding views to the rear elevation, which have hardly changed in fifty years. This ideal family home would suite the younger growing family looking to that property to restore and update to their own taste and design. Some improvements have been made to date, namely the installation of ‘Everest’ white UPVC double glazed windows throughout, which not only keeps the cold out and the heat in but has the additional benefit of security and easy maintenance. Rarely will you find any properties of this type and size in the market. Remember, “It’s all about the location, location, location!” as Phil Spencer always says.

What the Owner says:

When my husband and I moved here back in 1964 we were buying from the original couple who saw the house being built. We were a young growing family and we wanted somewhere that we could grow up in together. The children spent many happy days in our garden during the summer holidays and even now, I enjoy the ever changing colours that each season brings, the mature trees and shrubs still look stunning in the autumn. Some years have now passed and I feel that the time is right for me to find something smaller and easy for me to manage and be closer to my family.
