LOCAL AREA GENERAL INFORMATION

The village of North Fambridge with a population of around 700, is situated on the River Crouch just a few miles east of South Woodham Ferrers, and south of Maldon. This sort after village has the benefit of a railway station linking to London Liverpool Street and is therefore ideal for commutors who seek the rural lifestyle on offer. For sailors and yatchsman there are swinging mooring facilities as well as Fambridge Marina with it's pontoon moorings and associated facilities. The village has it's own village hall, childrens day nursery, public house and deer farm as well as a country park well known for marsh birds and flowers.
