" Enjoying a select, rarely available elevated location, set within established, mature grounds, stands this imposing five bedroom Edwardian residence. Built circa 1905, the current owner has been careful to retain and in some instances, replicate the numerous features of the period. These include beam features to many ceilings, oak wood-block flooring, doors, plate rack detail and many stained glass windows. There is an open porch with balcony over and this leads via the original door to the magnificent reception hall and in turn the cloakroom with w.c. off. The drawing room has an interesting Art Deco fireplace and leads through double opening doors to the reading room. This retains the arched windows on two elevations and can give access to the music room beyond. As would be expected, the dining room is of formal proportions and again has a fireplace and broad window on the south-west elevation. Next is the breakfast room, retaining a Welsh dresser and has a walk-in butler's pantry. The kitchen is large, well appointed and leads to the rear lobby with laundry room and gardeners' toilet. Also off this lobby is a recently added conservatory opening to the wider part of the sweeping drive. At first floor level is the main bathroom and the five very well proportioned bedrooms, two with en suite/washroom facilities. The principal en suite, we believe, being a former sixth double bedroom and leads to the balcony over the porch. The grounds include tiered lawns on the south-west side, pond features, a large green house and rear section of lawn. The drive sweeps to one side and leads to the two sets of garages. The main garage is detached, two storey with automated doors with very versatile accommodation over. One particular point only evident once on site, are the far reaching views toward and including the Bristol Channel. A rare opportunity. "
