" A much improved and extended semi with open plan living space and a long rear garden, well-located in an eagerly sought after south City area close to Addenbrooke's.

Foster Road is part of a development built in the late 1940s into the early 1950s around a central playing field and is extremely popular with young, professional families thanks to its well-proportioned houses and ease of access into the City and to the Addenbrooke's Campus.

It is also just a few minutes' walk to the well-regarded Fawcett primary school and the brand new secondary school, Trumpington Community College, that is due to open in spring 2016.

The property had been extended and improved and now has larger than normal ground floor accommodation. There is a large open plan living / dining space which has large double glazed doors leading onto the rear garden.

The kitchen is fitted with high gloss, black fronted units with granite effect work surfaces. There is a built in double oven and a gas hob. The kitchen opens to the study / utility area which has a large skylight allowing lots of natural light. , there is plumbing here for a washing machine and fridge/freezer.

Trumpington is a thriving, fast growing part of the City that still manages to retain its village identity and sense of community. It is exceptionally well located for access into the Addenbrooke's campus, out to the M11 and into the City by car, bus, guided bus, one of a few purpose built cycle routes, or even an enthusiastic walk. The City's mainline station can be easily reached along the guided busway cycleway without having to mix with car traffic at all.

The area has two primary schools with a brand new state-of-the-art secondary school opening in 2016 which will also bring excellent sporting facilities. A number of Private schools are within cycling distance. There are also various restaurants, pubs, shops, a post office, hairdresser, surgery, chemist, Waitrose supermarket and two new country parks. "
