" Dimmings is a brick built detached bunglow, originally constructed in 1965, situated in an elevated plot with field views to front and rear. The accommodation comprises a sunny entrance lobby leading to the principle hallway. There is an additional side entrance hallway which leads into the kitchen/breakfast room which is well fitted with a range of pine fronted wall and base units incorporating a Creda electric double oven and 4-ring ceramic hob, a fitted pantry cupboard and a large airing cupboard. The good sized utility room has plumbing for a washing machine and a rear door leading to the garden. The dual aspect sitting room has a fully tiled open fireplace and the dining room/3rd bedroom has a fireplace with a tiled surround and electric fire. There are two double bedrooms, a spacious bathroom with large shower and panelled bath and a separate cloakroom. N.B. The current owners believe that the foundations were built to support a first floor extension and the existing loft space is particularly large, lending itself for conversion.

Outside, the rear and side gardens are extremely pretty and well stocked. A large gravel driveway provides parking for several vehicles and leads to the integral single garage. The rear garden is fully enclosed by mature trees and hedging, is mainly laid to lawn with floral borders and measures 53ft deep (at the widest part) and 100ft wide.Directions

From Saffron Walden take the B1053 to Radwinter and at the crossroads proceed on the B1054 to Hempstead. Upon entering Hempstead proceed through the village, round the sharp left hand bend passing The Bluebell Public House on the left and Dimmings will be found about 200 yards further on the left hand side with a small parking bay in front of it. "
