" Believed to have been constructed in 1921, this is an attractive and impressive four bedroom, two bathroom family home with off-road parking. It offers sociable and relaxed, yet capacious and handsome living accommodation, with a downstairs office, utility room, super kitchen-diner, separate sitting room and arresting double-height entrance hallway. With a striking frontage including black iron double gates, herringbone step entrance, enhanced by a solid stone surround to the solid wood, double front door, the property has recently been improved and upgraded by the owners and is in excellent decorative order.

Internally, the property opens into a beautiful entrance hallway with many original features, the perfect space to welcome your guests into. The main sitting room and living room benefit from the sunshine all throughout the day, particularly so as much of this aspect of the ground floor is glazed with bi-fold doors opening out onto the garden, flooding these rooms with light. A generous open-plan kitchen-breakfast room, with an eye-catching hand-built bespoke kitchen overlooks the rear garden and provides a cosy yet spacious and sociable family space. A fantastic granite worktop adorns the top of a large central island with built-in appliances and useful storage, as well as the rest of the kitchen units. A fabulous gas AGA sits in pride of place at the heart of the kitchen. There is also a handy utility room beyond, featuring what looks to be an original floor with quarry tiles, a good sized larder in the kitchen itself, an ample office, a separate WC with cloakroom and the back door. Further benefits of the ground floor include underfloor heating throughout, oak flooring, two glorious stained glass windows either side of the dining and living areas, period character and integral garage, accessed through the office. In the main hallway, a charming staircase leads to galleried landing with all of the bedrooms off it. All the bedrooms are doubles and benefit from bespoke built-in storage. Two of the bedrooms are generous, with the master bedroom benefiting from an en-suite wet room and sunny balcony overlooking the garden. Both bathrooms are fully tiled in elegant colour schemes, with the main bathroom offering bath and shower over. There is also a useful airing cupboard and access into the attic from three points.

Outside in the garden, a large artificial grass patio provides the perfect place to enjoy a cool drink with friends in the summer sunshine, with the rest of the garden on a lower level and a separate section which could be used as a kitchen garden or possibly even reallocated for additional off-road parking if required. In addition there is a great, 5m square, double insulated, wooden summerhouse which offers the potential for use as a home office, kids playroom, artists studio or any other similar usage.
