" A beautifully appointed detached residence of individual design and impressive character conveniently located approximately 400 yards west of Eastbourne railway station. Southfields Lodge was constructed in the 1920s and has been the subject of considerable improvement by the present owners with careful thought being given to the retention of the original character. The house has almost completely been re-wired and a new gas central heating system installed. There is a superb fitted kitchen/breakfast room with hand crafted solid beech doors and two re-fitted bath/shower rooms (one en-suite to the master bedroom). The windows have also been replaced with sealed unit double glazed units. Southfields Lodge is situated within a couple of hundred yards of Gildredge Park behind electronically operated gates which provide access to the attached garage and ample off road parking, together with the beautifully maintained and manageable gardens. An internal inspection is essential to appreciate the quality of this truly exceptional home.
