" On entering this two bedroom first floor maisonette I was dazzled, in a good way, by the light which streamed in from the kitchen/diner and light shaft above the staircase.
At the top of the stairs I was greeted by the good sized and modern fitted kitchen/diner, a space that I feel would suit a young family or those looking to entertain.
The bathroom was modern too and also finished in white, so the theme of light and fresh was still remaining and on the landing to the next floor too with its open, spacious and bright feel.
The living room is on the front, which although is northerly facing, still benefits from great light due to the big windows and light coloured properties reflecting opposite.
Anyone looking for a step on the ladder with perfect access for Balfour, Dorothy Stringer and Varndean Schools this could be your perfect opportunity. Preston Park and Preston Park Station are both within easy reach for recreational or commuter needs and local amenities can be found on Preston Drove, along with the refurbished Park View Tavern.
All in all, this light and airy home has mass appeal!

What the Owner says:

When I first saw this property I was taken aback by the space and light. I’d viewed a lot of properties that had dark landings but the sun streamed through on this one. There was also a lot of space on the landing which could be used for storage or a study area.
The other advantages I found out after I’d moved in, the main one being the sense of community. In the summer there is a fun day and at Christmas, Father Christmas comes and visits the road, there’s also mulled wine available, mince pies and you can take part in as much of it as you like. I’ve made some lovely friends in the street and will be sad to go but am moving on to buy a new home with my partner.
