" This is a very special property that offers an abundance of charm and character. The house was built in 1938 and has been improved by the current owners into what is a very comfortable and appealing home.

The house features generous sized living rooms with Clearview wood burning stoves in both the lounge and dining room. Wood burning stoves are the height of fashion, the soporific glow of the flames on a winters evening, and the collecting and chopping of wood, becomes not just a creature comfort, but a lifestyle change.

In the lounge there is a fabulous picture window giving a delightful southerly view of the rear garden with the wooded copse beyond. The kitchen / breakfast room has granite work surfaces in part to three walls and has plenty of room for a table for a cosy breakfast. There is also a downstairs toilet and side porch from the kitchen. A particular attraction of the house is the gas fired AGA nestled in the corner of the kitchen, it has hot plates, ovens and fires the hot water for the house. You've not lived until you have experienced the delights of an AGA slow roasted Sunday joint, ultimate baked potatoes, and the benefit of a constant warmth that fills the whole house.

The dining room leads onto a study that has been completely fitted out with custom made wall to wall book shelving and desk .

On the first floor there are three bedrooms ,family bathroom and a separate wc There is a useful loft room measuring 15ft x 8ft accessed via loft ladder. The first floor galleried landing is a fabulous feature. The house is set on a large mature plot with 90ft rear gardens, there is a large lawn, fruit trees, greenhouse , shed and a vegetable patch. To the front is a large approach driveway which continues to the double tandem garage and workshop.
