" 2 double bedroom 2nd floor flat in Ashley Cross. This rare flat has just become re-available for a long term let in the heart of Poole's most sought after location, Ashley Cross. Neutral and unfurnished throughout, this flat is ready to be transformed into a beautiful home in a fantastic location.

I know it is an Estate Agent's cliche but Ashley Cross really is a sought after location, and it's rare such a well presented flat becomes available to let right in the heart of the area. The flat is neutrally decorated throughout, all the rooms are large and both bedrooms are doubles. The bathroom has a full size bath with shower over and is having a new vinyl floor fitted this week. The kitchen is well arranged with integrated gas hob and electric oven, washing machine and even a fridge if needed. The kitchen also houses the Gas Combi Boiler for the flats heating and instant hot water. The flat has a dedicated parking space with additional visitor parking with electric gated access - worth its weight in gold in Ashley Cross.

Ashley Cross itself has become the go to location for its quirky shops, bakeries, pubs and restaurants. Enjoy the best sausage rolls in the world at UK's best baker, Mark Bennetts Patisserie. Sit and eat it on the green. The pubs and bars are excellent with The Ox, The Cow, and the Dancing Moose being some of the animal themed favourites. These also do excellent food. The steaks in the Le Bateau are wonderful and the Mint is one of the best indian restaurants around.

The green in Ashley Cross is ideal for a walk or enjoying the afternoon sun and is host to numerous events throughout the summer. Poole Park or Whitecliff Recreation Ground, both are close by. Both parks have specific children's play areas and as they get older, a purpose built skate park.

From Ashley Cross, it is less than a mile to Poole for shopping in the Dolphin Centre or visiting Poole Quay on the edge of Poole's stunning harbour, which is the worlds second largest natural harbour second to Sydney. The harbour is home to several Islands including National Trust site Brownsea Island, and famous for establishing the Scout association and the Brownsea Open Air Theatre. The harbour is often alive with sailing boats, windsurfers and other watersports events. From the quay you can see the fishing boats or marvel at the sleek Sunseeker boats. The quay is host to weekly bike, sports car and firework evenings throughout the summer, or just enjoy fish 'n chips followed by a pint in the many traditional pubs in the old part of Poole. Ashley cross is less than 2 miles to Sandbanks, with its world famous Beaches, and home to the beach polo and the ferry to the Purbeck Hills and Studland. Poole itself is a major employment hub with main offices for international companies including Sunseeker Marine, the RNLI, Barclays and many more.

Transport links from Ashley Cross are excellent. Buses into Poole and Bournemouth are plentiful. Parkstone Railway Station is a very short walk and from there, there are direct routes to London and Manchester. And you are less than 3 miles from the Wessex Way with at least dual carriageway to the New Forest, Southampton and the UK motorway network.
