A fine example of a 1930s built detached house that has been modernised and extended to create an exceptionally comfortable and spacious family home, with gardens backing onto open fields giving countryside views. The accommodation is light and flows beautifully with a large reception hall giving access to the spacious kitchen/breakfast/family room, utility room and WC, all of which have limestone flooring throughout. The kitchen has been well designed and created by Duncan Copeman Furniture, and has a central island as well as wall and base units with granite work tops, leaving space for a range cooker and other appliances. Velux windows flood the room with light, and French doors give access to the kitchen garden and deck. Access from the hall and kitchen takes you through to the dining room and welcoming sitting room, both of which have open fires with stone surrounds. The dining room also has French doors leading out into the garden. The utility room is of generous size, with wall and base units, and a door giving access to the driveway- perfect for bringing in the shopping or on those wet raincoat and welly days.

On the first floor is the master suite, consisting of a large double bedroom with dual aspect views, dressing room and beautiful en suite shower room with limestone floor. A further double bedroom and family bathroom can be found across the landing area, and bedroom three doubles as an office for the current owner. The second floor provides two further double bedrooms and a shower room, which are ideal for teenagers or as guest rooms, as they feel a little more self-contained.

Outside, through a stone pillared entrance, is the large parking area, as well as the double garage; which has remote controlled electric doors. The garden wraps round the property, with a wild flower garden, lawn, summerhouse, shed, decking area with pond, kitchen garden, herb garden, and orchard. One could perfectly enjoy summer dining on the deck with views across open countryside.
