" Located in the sought after village of Beckington, a greatly extended and renovated semi detached property that would make a lovely family home. Benefitting from spacious and well laid out accommodation throughout, gas central heating, PVCu double glazing and block paved driveway parking for several vehicles. The accommodation consist of an entrance porch leading to the entrance hall. Stairs from here lead to the first floor. The fully tiled wet room has a mains shower, pedestal wash hand basin and W.C. and a window to the side. The sitting room has a bay window to the front and useful understairs cupboard. The impressive 22 foot A-frame kitchen/dining room has french doors directly out to the garden, a window to the side and a door to the utility room. The kitchen area has a comprehensive range of white fronted wall and base units with roll top work surfaces over and in-set stainless steel sink unit with mixer tap and waste disposal unit under. Beckington is one of Somerset’s most sought after villages and lies between the World Heritage City of Bath and the popular market town of Frome. The village has excellent local amenities that include two excellent schools with outstanding Ofsted results as well as direct independent school bus services to Bath schools including King Edwards and Royal High, also to Sunny Hill in Bruton, and Millfield in Glastonbury. With its Memorial Hall and tennis courts the village has a strong local community and provides an outstanding family orientated environment. Close by is the market town of Frome with many amenities, including shopping, banks, post office, theatre, cinema, local hospital, a number of schools and railway station with direct trains to London. The property lies approximately 1/4 of a mile from the town centre.  The stunning Georgian city of Bath lies approximately 15 miles distant, which is home to elegant buildings, amazing museums and ancient hot springs, offering a wealth of cultural experiences to enjoy.   Mainline rail connections to London are also provided from Bath and Westbury. Surrounding open countryside boasts an interesting and picturesque network of walks including the Kennet & Avon canal through nearby Trowbridge, which passes through the Avon Valley.  Frome is also just on the edge of the beautiful countryside of Wiltshire and the Mendip Hills.
