Brimming with period features throughout and with accommodation arranged over three floors a lovely and unexpectedly spacious period home in Keyford. Features include a beautiful flagstone floor in the kitchen/dining room, fireplaces in four rooms, latched and brace doors, pretty original built in cupboards and original sash windows. The property further benefits from front and rear gardens and gas central heating. The accommodation consists of a sitting room with window to the front and fireplace with recessed book shelving with cupboards under.  The spacious kitchen/dining room has a window and stable door to the garden.  There is a range of pale green wall and base units with solid wood work surfaces over and in-set stainless steel sink unit and mixer tap.  A build in electric oven with gas hob and space and plumbing for a washing machine.  There is a useful cupboard and wall mounted shelving.  A door leads to the staircase leading to the first floor.  On the first floor the landing has a door leading to the second floor.  Bedroom one has a window to the front elevation and a feature cupboard and pretty fireplace.  Bedroom two has a fireplace with shelving to the recesses and a window to the rear elevation.  The bathroom has an obscure window to the rear elevation and a panelled bath with mains shower over, a pedestal wash hand basin and W.C.  There is an built in understairs cupboard.  Stairs from the landing lead to bedroom three, which is a spacious, full height room with a window to the rear elevation and hatch to roof space.  Externally the front garden is filled with shrubs and bushes with a flagstone pathway to the front door and it is enclosed by stone walling  The rear garden has a path leading to steps up to a lawned garden with mature shrubs and trees.  At the bottom there is a stone built outhouse.  A lovely Frome home.

Frome is an attractive market town and recently voted one of the top six places to live in England by 'The Times' newspaper It has a thriving town centre with many amenities, including a wide range of local and individual shops, a twice weekly market, banks, post office, two theatres, a number of music venues, a cinema, pubs and restaurants, a new local hospital, supermarkets, and a railway station with direct mainline services to London. There is a Leisure Centre with swimming pool and the usual facilities. There are a number of good private schools nearby including All Hallows Prep School and Downside. Millfield, Wells Cathedral and Kings Bruton Schools are all within 30 minutes drive. Bath also has a good selection of private schools including King Edwards School. There are also many good state schools in Frome. Babington House the private members club is approximately 2 miles distant. Frome is located on the borders of Somerset and Wiltshire the surrounding countryside offers lots of lovely walks and opportunities for outdoor pursuits such as walking, horse riding and fishing. The town has two golf courses and a football club. Nearby is the well renowned Longleat Estate, a number of national trust properties including Stourhead. The stunning Georgian city of Bath lies approximately 15 miles distant, which is home to elegant buildings, amazing museums and ancient hot springs, offering a wealth of cultural experiences to enjoy. There are good road links to London and the South West via the A303, M4 and M5 all of which are in reasonable reach. Mainline rail connections to London are also provided from Bath and nearby Westbury and Bristol International airport is also just a 45 minute drive away.
