" This is truly an exquisite Georgian cottage. Situated in the most picturesque artisan terrace, the house is approached via an archway of Laurel and through a beautifully planned front garden. The ground floor has an open plan sitting room and dining room with a central Bath stone fireplace fitted with a 'Jetmaster' gas fire. The view of the garden from the pretty front window is delightful. There are double doors from the dining area in to a sunroom where one can enjoy the raised rear garden whatever the weather. The kitchen has been well designed with plenty of storage and room for a breakfast table. The light flooding in from the skylight as well as the window and glazed door to the garden add to the feel of light and space. The first floor houses a master bedroom with far reaching views over Bath to the far hills; there is also a pleasant view from the second bedroom and family bathroom. With some retained period features and a peaceful interior style this pretty home also offers an easy transition from the house into the garden.

Situation
A unique and arguably one of the most attractive Grade II Listed terraces situated in this idyllic and most popular address of Lansdown, just north of Bath city centre. No 4 is a delightful hidden gem behind a tall hedge. The terrace benefits from the feel of a classic English village and yet is so close to the city. Within the terrace is The Richmond Arms; a popular public house run by the community. Richmond Place Green with a children's area is at the far end of the terrace whilst St Stephens Primary School is on the opposite side of the green and is very well-regarded. A walk down Lansdown Road to the city famous for its wealth of important historical buildings and many elegant crescents and streets interspersed with parks and recreational areas. This cosmopolitan city also enjoys many fine restaurants and specialist shops. Bath is surrounded by glorious countryside and Lansdown is easily accessible via the M4 motorway, mainline train station and Bristol International Airport.

Outside
The terrace benefits from the feel of a classic English village and yet it is only approximately a mile from the centre of the city. The pastel colour houses are set behind pretty front gardens and this enclosed garden is no exception. The front garden is enclosed by stone walls and soft hedging and shrubs to the side whilst a tall edge offers privacy from the front as well as a wonderful arched entrance. The lawn is interspersed with shrubs and rose bushes and seasonal flowers border the lawn. There is a terrace adjacent to the front and due to its privacy this is a wonderful spot to enjoy the garden. At the rear the garden path leads from the kitchen and sun room up a couple of steps to a lovely spring garden and courtyard of summer planting and climbers. Double gates to the rear lane allow this area to be used as off street parking if required. A detached wooden garage adds perfect storage or a home for a small car.
