"Situated in the Wessex area of outstanding natural beauty with exceptional, south facing views across the Marlborough Downs and Barbury Castle stands this impressive six bedroom detached house. Built for the Commanding Officer of the former RAF Wroughton military hospital in the 1950's this substantial family home offers a wealth of accommodation over three floors and much versatility. All primary living rooms and bedrooms have high ceilings and are located on the south elevation with large window openings, enjoying this panoramic setting.

On the ground floor there are three well proportioned main reception rooms. Of particular note is a large bay window in the sitting room with a marble fireplace. To the left is a substantial detached 40ft wide triple garage with natural stone paved parking to the front and electric up and over doors. A personnel door to the side opens into this rather incredible space. Designed to accommodate a high sided vehicle at one end with an overhead hoist and the rest of the garage offering showroom quality, centrally heated space for cherished motorcars and motorcycles. A natural stone and solid oak staircase leads to a first floor studio above.
