"Located on the edge of a popular Wiltshire village this is a well presented modern 4/5 bedroom detached house providing extended and flexible living space arranged over three floors. It is situated within a small development of just three homes, completed in 1988 and sympathetically designed to fit in with the traditional buildings in the general locality. The property has an attached double garage to the side and replacement hardwood, double glazed windows and doors throughout. The front hall gives access to a guest room with en suite shower room and glazed doors opening to the rear garden, a cloakroom and a large coat cupboard. The village of Great Somerford lies some 4 miles SE of the historic town of Malmesbury and is set within a conservation area surrounded by some lovely open countryside. The village has a thriving community and amenities include a post office/shop, public house, parish church, Methodist chapel, primary school, pre-school and a free allotment scheme dating back over 200 years. A wider range of amenities can be found in nearby Malmesbury and Chippenham and there are excellent motorways links. For London, J16 of the M4 is some 10 miles away; J17, for Wales, Bristol and the West Country, approximately 5 miles. The nearest main line train stations are Chippenham and Kemble.
