"Heatherdown is a mature detached house with an attractive cottage style appearance that enjoys an elevated position giving some lovely downland views from several of the rooms. Within the property a large sitting room has wide patio doors onto the garden and an inglenook style fireplace currently housing a gas fire.

The kitchen has been refitted with a range of modern gloss fronted units with pan drawers, tall pull out storage as well as a built in oven, hob and dishwasher. The kitchen layout provides a dining room with wide double doors opening onto the gardens and a window to the front providing lovely downland views. The ground floor is completed with a large bathroom and a double bedroom.

On the first floor the principal bedroom has views of the Downs and an en-suite shower room whilst the study that could provide a third bedroom if desired.

Heatherdown is generally in good condition having been recently redecorated and with a modern kitchen, however there is scope to further enhance the already lovely accommodation. We also believe Heatherdown offers an excellent opportunity to extend the accommodation further subject to necessary permissions.

An attractive detached property in an elevated position with downland views.

The property is approached by a sweeping driveway giving lots of parking and leading to an oak framed car port which then adjoins a good size single garage. Access on each side of the property leads to the rear garden with a patio adjoining the sitting room with an electric sun canopy over (not tested) to give some shade on those sunny days. The remainder of the garden is lawned and lightly wooded with a decked area to the far end and summerhouse (both in need of repair). West Chiltington is a semi-rural West Sussex village made up of the old and the new sections, each with a local pub, shop with post office.
