"There aren't many affordable modern homes in Ifield with 4 bedrooms and 4 reception rooms in one of the most sought after estates in Ifield.

The house itself looks great with its long driveway for 4-6 cars leading to a detached double garage to the front and right of this attractive double fronted house. To the rear, there is a beautifully designed mature garden that is not overlooked.

The property feels amazingly spacious and oozes "that feeling". The downstairs reception rooms (office, sitting room, dining room and large conservatory) flow effortlessly to enable easy dining, working and relaxing. The Paula Rosa kitchen/breakfast room has lots of storage and overlooks the patio area enabling easy entertaining in the garden. There is also a utility room and cloakroom on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with en suite shower room, 2 further double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a family bathroom.

Primely located in this sought after quiet cul-de-sac, children can play safely and you can be in Central London for work or play in about an hour of closing your front door with trains home until well past midnight. We brought this pretty house for its location and size, despite being just a 3 minute walk to a mainline station, or a 10 minute journey to Crawley, Gatwick or Horsham. The house is situated in the quiet oasis that is Southwater Close.

We found that not many houses in Crawley have 4 bedrooms (3 are genuine doubles), a separate dining and sitting room and space for a large office as well as a classic designer kitchen on a secluded corner plot.

In 2006 we added a large conservatory and had the garden landscaped by an RHS award winning designer, and in 2009 we replaced the boiler with a top of the range combi boiler.
