"You wouldn't imagine the inside of this home is so different to its facade. Being a well constructed home from the 1970's era the owners decided that they couldn't dramatically change the exterior so they concentrated on adding character features to the inside. Throughout the ground floor is beautiful oak flooring and in the lounge there is a Jetmaster fireplace with granite inlay and hearth, another change has been the inclusion of glazed double doors in between the dining room and lounge, allowing two separate rooms or the facility for one large reception. The kitchen is larger than one would expect with classically styled units. A new oil boiler and oil storage tank were fitted in the latter part of 2009, so with the double glazing this home has the modern facilities with stylish features. On the outside there is space to create a wider drive, whilst the side access has been brick paved for neatness. The back garden is terraced with an "al fresco" dining area and space directly at the rear of the home to construct a conservatory. There is also an area of lawn with stocked borders. Wisborough Green is a quintessentially English village with two public houses, its own shop, school and church all centred around the village green, which is in use with sporting events and a Village day throughout the year. The closest rail link will be found at Billingshurst, where there is also a secondary school, leisure centre and wider range of shops and restaurants.

What the Owner says:

When we first viewed this home it didn't have the character features we were used to. Having lived in a period cottage for many years, we wondered whether it was a step too far, but with careful planning we have managed to get the best of all worlds, with a decent plot, a modern build that doesn't require maintenance all the time, with the addition of the character features we organized ourselves. The oak flooring offers a low maintenance, yet a clean and refined look, with the Jetmaster fireplace we have a stylish feature. The double doors between the lounge and dining room enable us to make a cosy room or open living space for when we have family and friends round.
