"This property feels very big on the inside, but probably doesn't look like it on the outside. The living room has double aspect windows and sliding patio doors, so when the weather permits you can open up the space and potter around the plot. In the winter take advantage of the large fireplace, which is unusual for this design of home, but which is lovely to look at and generates a lot of heat. The property benefits from oil fired central heating. The woodblock flooring is also a great visual feature, full of character yet practical for country life. The two double bedrooms look out over the rear garden, which is very private apart from the prying eyes of wildlife. Outside is where this property also has scope, the garage is bigger than a usual double and has a laundry room at the rear. There is also the remains of what was once an office, facilities including a w.c., light and power and linking it all are gardens that have cultivated and wild areas, something for every gardener to get enthusiastic about. Ifold is an estate of mainly large detached homes with it's own village hall and convenience store. The closest doctors surgery is at Loxwood, which is a five minute drive.

What the Owner says:

My home offers an opportunity to enjoy a country lifestyle within my own private plot, yet within an excellent private estate community. I was attracted to the home because of the layout of the rooms. The kitchen/breakfast room is one of my favourites because with double glazing on three sides, I get lots of natural light. Because the living room is so big you can have various layouts of furniture and again it is double aspect with plenty of light pouring in. The plans I have had drawn up use the exsisting footprint of the building, to create a four bedroom, detached house with garage, where I believe we are not far away from the site of the original Grand Ifold House.
