Vendors Comment:
We bought the house off plan in mid '90, completed in December of '91 and finally moved in on Valentines Day the following year. During this time we worked with the building manager and this enabled us to change bits as we went along meaning that we moved in to an entirely customized home.
Initially it was the position of the house that really drew us to it, located on the periphery of the development, and with so much space to the drive and exterior it feels very much like a stand alone property. The location is perfect, everything is here in Solihull, schools, colleges, restaurants, bars, shopping, theatre and the cinema and so much more.
It has been the most wonderful family home; we have three children who have all loved living here. Everything we wanted we have created here, lovely grand entrance, electric gates, a natural wooded area, a decked area, "alfresco" dining space leading from the conservatory, a courtyard, we have enjoyed relaxing in each space during summer months and winter too. We also love the feel the Ivy has given the propertyn++it took years, but was worth it.
Over the years we have refurbished and changed our home, I think the most successful was opening up the kitchen and creating the beautiful social space where we now spend most of our time.
The birds have now flown and the nest is empty, and so we find ourselves looking for a smaller, but just as exciting project. This is a home that is full of happy memories and it will be a sad day when we leave.
