To get to the property from the PMIS office on the Stratford Road, head towards Stratford on the Stratford Road, turn left at the third roundabout onto Marshal Lake Road, turn right onto Cranmore Road then turn left onto Avon Road. Solihull is a lively and well established town, 132metres above sea level (measured at the base of the angled buttress on St Alphege Church) and lives up to its motto, Town in the Country, by enjoying the best of both worlds. It was born at the crossroads of commerce, it is built on history and it breathes in some of the greenest and most pleasant countryside in England. Solihull is situated in the geographical centre of the country -marked by a stone cross on Meriden village green and was first recorded c1170 in the Red Book of the Exchequer. The name Solihull derives from Anglo-Saxon and means muddy or soiley hill. The heritage of the town is beautifully preserved in the 15th Century Manor House and mediaeval parish church of St Alphege at the end of the High Street With quaint picturesque villages and glorious awarding winning parks and gardens.
