RADWAY Is attractively situated at the foot of Edge Hill, notable as the site of one of the battles of the English civil war, on the border of Warwickshire with North Oxfordshire in the Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty. The village includes a variety of character period houses and cottages, many built in local Hornton stone, together with a village hall and a fine parish church. There is a renowned inn - The Castle at Edge Hill close-by, whilst local shopping facilities and excellent primary and secondary schools are available in Kineton (about 3 ? miles). Larger towns within easy access include Stratford upon Avon (13 ? miles), Banbury, with main line trains services to London Marylebone (8 ? miles) and Warwick/Leamington Spa (15 miles). Junction 12 of the M40 is within 15 minutes drive. 25 THE GREEN Occupies a lovely position on the edge of the village, overlooking the attractive Green to the front, with a delightful outlook towards the Cotswold escarpment. Originally built in the mid 1960s in local stone with vertical tile hanging, the property comprises an end of terrace cottage style family house which benefits from uPVC double glazing, oil fired central heating, an attractive sitting room opening to a dining area and large double glazed conservatory, fitted kitchen, two good double bedrooms and bathroom. On the ground floor A part glazed uPVC front door opens to the entrance hall with a polished slate floor and staircase rising to the first floor. The sitting room enjoys a feature Hornton stone open fireplace and a wide opening to the dining room. Outside The property is set from the lane behind a deep grass verge to the side and an attractive, part walled front garden with lawn, flower borders and pathway to the front door. A shared tunnel passageway gives access to paved rear garden, enclosed by panelled fencing, with timber garden shed, oil tank and fuel store.
