"Despite being so relatively close to surburban areas, this superb property could hardly be more tranquilly located, surrounded by open fields and meadows providing a superb outlook, particularly from the front decked area - a super al-fresco dining and drinking area in the warmer months. This is a house where you can truly see the change of the seasons from your own sitting room! When originally built circa. 1920, the two semi detached houses are believed to have rehoused men returning from World War I. Since then, the accommodation has been considerably enlarged and now offers very well proportioned family accommodation whilst also providing planning for a single and two storey extension (see Guildford Borough Council planning department reference 13/P/00072).

Internally, the house is very well presented. Latch doors abound and there are many other interesting features. The principal sitting room includes 4-door bi-folds to fully enhance the view whilst a large exposed brick fireplace houses a modern log-burner (available by separate negotiation). A separate sitting room is divided from the entrance hall by a walk-round chimney breast which could house a wonderful log burner. The kitchen/breakfast opens directly into a modern conservatory, and is fitted with a comprehensive range of wood style units with integral units including a 4-burner gas hob, separate double oven, dishwasher and full-height fridge, all on a terracotta tiled floor. Further ground floor rooms include a snug/family room, downstairs cloakroom and entrance lobby.

The upstairs rooms are accessed via twin staircases, one of which leads off the main sitting room, via a door, to the guest or older teenagers bedroom. this is a lovely double aspect room with great views and a smartly fitted en-suite shower-room. The other 3 bedrooms are gained via the main staircase. The master suite again provides far views and is twin aspect providing plenty of light and includes a range of built-in wardrobes. The en-suite shower-room is beautifully appointed.

It should be noted that despite its rural location the house has full mains gas, electricity and drainage."
