"When our clients first viewed this house in 2002, some of the features that inspired them to purchase it included the feeling of space as one enters the good sized hallway, the overall space the house offered on the ground floor and the size of the bedrooms. Add to this, the very quiet residential location backing onto allotments and it proved to be the perfect family home for them. Since moving in, they have added an additional ground floor room, with pitched roof that now houses the kitchen/breakfast room. It is comprehensively fitted with a range of oak style units and woodblock worktops and spaces for a 90cm gas range cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. There is ample dining space within a wide bay window, there is a door to the garden, two velux windows in the sloping ceiling and the flooring is of exposed pine floorboards. The lounge and dining room are open plan, creating a large through room, both of which have fireplaces including a lovely cosy open fire with wood surround and mantle in the living room area. The former kitchen has become a study/family room. The downstairs bathroom is fitted with a modern white suite. Upstairs, the master bedroom is a particularly impressive size overlooking the rear whilst both of the other bedrooms are potentially double sizes. The house is gas centrally heated via radiators and the windows are sealed double glazed units. Outside, a shared driveway gives access to a detached garage. A side gate leads to the rear garden which is approximately 65ft deep with gravel patio leading to a lawned section with mature flower and shrub, beds and borders. There is a timber garden shed and the garden is very quiet, backing onto the allotments behind. The house is situated in a lovely quiet spot in a residential road. It is very well located for schools with St John the Baptist secondary and Woking College just around the corner whilst Kingfield and Westfield primarys are less than 1 mile away."
