"A rare opportunity to purchase this substantial detached family home, which occupies a large secluded garden setting in this highly regarded road. The property has retained some wonderful features of the Edwardian era with wooden floors to the reception rooms, excellent ceiling heights, fireplaces and ornate cornice. This property not only has character and charm, but it also has a great layout to suit family living. You are greeted by a welcoming reception hall with window bench overlooking the front garden and offering sufficient room to be used as a study or reading area. The ground floor has two formal receptions currently used as a living room and a family room. The spacious living room at the front of the house has a fireplace, a square bay window and wood flooring. The family room at the back of the property is a great size and have a fireplace, wood flooring and large patio doors leading you out to the conservatory. Located less than a mile from local shops in Pyrford with a Co-op, cafe, butchers, off licence and hairdressers and less than 2 miles from the centre of West Byfleet which has an excellent selection of shopping facilities (including a Waitrose supermarket), a selection of restaurants and coffee houses and a main line rail station with regular direct links to London Waterloo in about 30 minutes. More extensive shopping centres can be found in Woking about 2.5 miles away, where you can also find a leisure centre with pool, cinema complex and well regarded theatre. Other recreational opportunities in the area include a number of golf courses, health and fitness clubs, the RHS Wisley and beautiful walks along the canal by Pyrford Marina. Junction 10 of the M25 is about 4 miles away and Terminal 5 at Heathrow about 15 miles. Guildford is about 8 miles and central London about 27 miles.
