"A very traditional and yet modernised Victorian character cottage. Positioned in Hersham Village this semi-detached period home offers beautifully presented accommodation alongside some lovely features including an open fireplace currently housing a wood-burning stove. The ground floor layout offers generous living space, but retains the original charm of two separate reception rooms and the well presented kitchen with solid beech surfaces, matching storage units/display cabinets, and is complimented by tiled flooring. Further features on the ground floor include an attractive and modern bathroom suite, consisting of an enclosed bath, w.c, washbasin and wall mounted shower. There is also a lobby area providing space for further white goods. From the kitchen a side door leads into the rear garden offering a very secluded courtyard area in which to enjoy outside dining and entertaining. The southerly orientation also makes this a particularly attractive setting. On the first floor there are two good size double bedrooms and the main bedroom has an en-suite w.c and washbasin. It is also worth noting the roof has been over-hauled in the past few years. The heating is gas to radiators and a majority of windows are double-glazed. Hersham Village is both an appealing and a practical setting. The combination of open greens, village shops, Waitrose Supermarket and good primary schooling, certainly put this location at the top of many agendas. Walton-on-Thames Mainline Station is within walking distance providing an excellent service to London (Waterloo) taking approximately 25 minutes."
