"It is easy to see why the current owner snapped up this beautiful home many years ago. Oozing character, charm and space, it's also effortless to understand why she has chosen to stay here so long. As you step inside the bright entrance hall notice the stunning stained glass door and the stripped wooden floors. An early indication of the quality on offer. The impressive lounge is a lovely, light room with a superb open fire. It's easy to imagine relaxing in here after a hard day. The dining room is laid out as a family room with once again a delightful fire and stripped wooden floors. Opening out onto a fantastic Victorian style conservatory, it is also the perfect room for entertaining and dinner parties will be very memorable here. The kitchen is exceptional. Complete with under floor heating, stylish breakfast bar and an unbelievable amount of fitted units and work-top space, you will definitely be impressed. There is even the handy addition of a downstairs cloakroom too. Upstairs there are 5 very generous bedrooms and a good size family bathroom. The main bedroom is more of a suite as it occupies the entire top floor. If you've always wanted your very own walk in wardrobe and en-suite shower room at your finger tips then this room will be a nice surprise! Wine connoisseurs will love the cellar and sun worshippers will enjoy the sunny back garden. If all this isn't enough then let's talk about the outstanding schools that Wallington is renowned for all of which are virtually on your doorstep. Hooked? You will be!

What the Owner says:

When I walked through the door 9 years ago, it just felt like a proper family home. My two girls were at that age where they wanted their own space and it was brilliant that all the bedrooms were big so they were spoilt for choice. It's a bit like owning your own" tardis" as you can’t quite believe the size until you see inside for yourself! Since living here I have re-decorated every room and stripped all the floors ensuring the character and charm remains intact. I love gardening and spend a lot of my time outside so as you can imagine, the west facing garden was also a huge bonus as it means lots of sunshine. As the girls were growing up, it was vital that they could have their own independence and the station being only a few minutes walk away has made that effortless for them.
