"Petitor - One who seeks or asks; a seeker. As the definition of the name implies, if you are seeking an immaculately presented home, set in a sought after position with beautiful semi-rural views, this home must be viewed. The original bungalow dates back to the 1930?s but has since been extended, re-modelled and substantially modernised. Planning consent was granted in 2004, for a first floor extension; whilst this has now lapsed the potential is still there subject to a new application. Today the immaculately presented accommodation has a wonderful feeling of space and light, with a large south facing living room forming the hub of the home. This is an elegant room retaining its open fireplace and with ample space for displaying large pieces of furniture. Steps lead down to a generously sized, open plan kitchen/diner, which is double aspect with French doors affording open views over the fields behind and opening onto the garden, ideal for summer entertaining. The kitchen has been comprehensively fitted with a range of cream fronted units with illuminated wall cabinets and sold oak worktops inset with a ceramic hob, canopied cooker hood and electric oven.
